T-Rex and Giant.....

In fact, before adopting Shorty,I was very " unstable". In March, my beloved T-Rex passed away after only 2 days of sickness but with 2 months of heartbreak. January saw the passing of my 10 yrs-old Mastiff, Giant. T-Rex and Giant had been buddies since they were puppies. T-Rex joined us only a few months after Giant. From the onset, both are meant to be friends for life. You see, both were females and from the large and guarding breeds yet never once had they ever fought over anything. To be fair T-Rex is the aggresive one but she always submitted to Giant, even without her showing any domineering traits. The weeks and months after the passing of these 2 great friends and companions of mine made my heart bled. I'm still not over them yet. Perhaps, another few months later I'll blog in more details of our lives together. Oh, T-Rex was a Dogue de Bordeaux.

Mongrel?...god send!

After reading all about the Pulau Ketam fiasco and donated a pittance, perhaps its guilt, or just the love for every puppies that allow me to adopt beautiful puppy of 'questionable' parentage on last Saturday evening. It is only 5 weeks old. For 3 nights, it has been howling from midnight till morning. Guess it must be misssing its mum and siblings. Well, if I did not adopt Shorty on Sat, it would have been taken by some foreign worker without a proper roof and unknown interest.Guess what, Shorty is showing some progress this morning, howling lesser and responding to my call. It's one little cute puppy.
